Is AFMD a religiously affiliated service?

about_morAFMD is not connected to or controlled by any religious organization. Even though it is faith based in a spiritual purpose, it does not exclude people or families no matter their race, color, or religious affiliation.

Are there fees for ministry services?

autismThanks to support from religious organizations and private donors, fees for programs and services are either free or have minimal charges based on ability to pay. Fees are waived for those who are unable to pay because we believe all individuals and families in our community should have access to compassionate support services.

What ministries are offered through AFMD?

about_goalThe goal of AFMD is to be responsive to identified and evolving needs within our community. Some of the programs and services we offer include: accessible transport; respite care, including couples respite; retreats; seminars and workshops that focus on topics and needs of the disabled and their families; prayer and bible study groups; support groups; worship services; celebration dinners for holidays and special events; personal assistance with accessing community programs and services; food services and an interactive website.
